Subject: Surrender/ reduction in transmission capacity rights in intra-state transmission system through open access.

Dear Sir,

We have been allotted transmission capacity rights in intra-state transmission system through open access vide MSETCL letter no._____ dated ______for the period from ____ to _______. The details of the capacity rights allotted to us are given in schedule-1 of the Bulk power Transmission Agreement executed by us. The copy of the Schedule-1 is attached herewith.

We are now not in position to utilize the capacity allotted to us to the extent of _____ MW and wish to surrender the same*.

OR

We now not require any transmission capacity rights on intra-state transmission system through open access*.

We enclose revised Schedule-1 duly signed by us.

We request the MSETCL for cancellation/ reduction of ___ MW transmission capacity rights in open access.

We confirm that we shall abide by the terms and conditions of BPTA executed by us including that for payment of transmission charges and other charges for the surrendered capacity as provided in BPTA under MERC (Transmission Open Access) Regulations, 2005.
