Shri. Uttam G. Zalte Director (Operations), since 5^th August, 2010 graduated in Electrical Engineering 1^st class in the year 1980. Shri Zalte joined erstwhile MSEB in 1980 as junior engineer. In 1987 he was promoted as Asst. Engineer. He passed M.E. (Power System analysis) in first class from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad  in the year 1994. He has a rich and varied experience of 31years in the areas of engineering and the thorough knowledge of electricity business. In 2005 he was promoted as Chief Engineer. Shri Zalte was involved in preparing and successfully implementing the comprehensive infrastructure plan of MSEDCL worth Rs. 9,000 crores since conception to execution. He has worked as Executive Director for the Pune region in the year 2009 wherein the revenue of the Pune Region, increased from Rs. 754 crore to Rs. 1262 crore per month. As Director (Operations) he is responsible for the entire operations of MSETCL.
